Nick Carraway in The Great Gatsby moves to West Egg to find himself mingled into a society unlike any other. We hear Nicks story and feel has though he is as Bob Dylan clearly wrote "Blowin in the wind". I compared The Great Gatsby to Bob Dylan's Blowin in The Wind because I felt as though Nick was dazed and confused. To me, when I look at Deborah Richardson's painting, I feel as though Nick has a choice, to stay in a society where people are fake and not accepting or go back to where he feels as though he can be himself. It is his choice.
